Injuries
LB Jaren Kanak
Injury: Internal Chest Injury, details unknown at this time.
Notes: Kanak played every snap in the game up until the somewhat of a freak accident in the fourth quarter. After making contact, Kanak fell awkwardly on his side before somewhat stumbling to his defensive position for the next play. Kanak then suddenly dropped to the turf in pain and was escorted to the sideline. Shortly thereafter, there was a lot of concern after Kanak was shown entering the back of an ambulance under his own power and taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. He was discharged and returned home with the team. It is not known what his internal injury is specifically at this time, but Gabe Ikard reported that he returned to practice today. It is likely that he will sit out against Iowa State after an apparent blunt force trauma type injury.
