Championship Information–
Texas Men’s Track and Field Team have won 10 Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships, the next closest teams have 2 (Texas Tech and Oklahoma State).
Texas Women’s Track and Field team have won 13 Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships, the next closest teams have 1 (Baylor and Kansas).
OU Track and Field has 1 Indoor Big 12 Championship, which happened back in 2010.
They look to bring their very solid season to a head and compete for the Big 12 Title starting Friday at 10am!
How OU did in previous Big 12 Indoor Championship Meets
2022- Men: 3rd, 84 points (-87 behind Texas) / Women: 5th, 73 points (-63 behind Texas)
2021- Men: 3rd, 89 points (-52 behind Texas) / Women: 7th, 59 points (-95.5 behind Texas)
2020- Men: 4th, 87 points (-50 behind Iowa State) / Women: 5th, 72 points (-108.33 behind Texas)
2019- Men: 7th, 57 points (-122 behind Texas Tech) / Women: 8th, 60.5 points (-67.5 behind Texas)
2018- Men: 9th, 48 points (-95 behind Texas Tech) / Women: 3rd, 98.5 points (-18.5 behind Texas)

We haven’t seen either Oklahoma team perform as a full team, so I do expect us to ramp it up when we do roll out the full teams.

My prediction would be that the Men’s team finishes 3rd behind Texas Tech and Texas, and the Women’s team finishes 4th (right in line with the projection).
